Instructions
Objective:
Three man is a very simple drinking game played with two dice amongst a crowd of people. There is no way to win the game, but it serves as a great game to accelerate drinking and to break the ice at parties. It is very welcoming to new players, and can be easily modified to suit the parties needs. Three man is great party game because players can still carry on in regular conversation while playing.
Materials:
- 2 dice
- Something to Drink
Gameplay:
Players take turns throwing the two dice in the middle of the group. Depending on what is thrown, certain players must drink. One player is designated to be the Three-Man, players may determine this by throwing the dice and the lowest score is the Three-Man.
Play begins and players throw the dice in turns, taking and giving drinks based on total score of their roll as described in the below table.
- Three: The player who rolls three, becomes the new Three-Man.
- Seven: Person to the left of the roller drinks.
- Ten: Sociable, everyone Drinks.
- Eleven: Person the the Right of the Roller drinks.
- Doubles: Give both dice to players (can be split). They roll dice and receive drinks based on numbers rolled.
- Twelve: Make a Rule.
Three-Man
Becoming the three man happens in a few different ways:
- A new player entering the game is automatically the new three man.
- A player who rolls a dice off the table becomes the new three man.
- A player rolls three (1 and 2) becomes the new three man.
The Three-Man must also take a drink if either dice rolls a 3 on any players roll.
Variations:
- If you disagree on a rule, know that there are many variations of Three-Man, this game is played differently all over the world.
- "bathroom penalty": if a player is in the bathroom when it is their turn to roll, they must take a drink for every 5 seconds they are late in returning.
