Instructions

Objective:

The objective of dice poker is to achieve the best poker hand possible by rolling a set of five dice.

Materials:

• 5 dice.
• Distribute Remaining dice as currency or chips.
• Dealer takes possession of the Gold Cup.

Gameplay:

Setup:

1. Each player takes turns being the "dealer."
2. Players sit in a circle, and the dealer begins by rolling all five dice.

Rolling the Dice:

• The dealer rolls all five dice and then hides the result from the other players, usually the Gold Cup or in their hand.

Betting:

• Before the dealer reveals their dice, players take turns betting on the quality of the dealer's hand. Bets can include raising, calling, or folding, similar to poker.

Revealing the Dice:

• After all players have made their bets, the dealer reveals their dice.

Scoring:

• Players compare their bets to the dealer's hand. The player with the best poker hand wins the round.
• The ranking of poker hands from highest to lowest is as follows:
  1. Five of a kind (e.g., five 6s)
  2. Four of a kind (e.g., four 4s)
  3. Full house (three of a kind and a pair)
  4. Three of a kind
  5. Two pairs
  6. One pair
  7. High card (the highest die value in the hand)

• In the event of a tie, the player who bet the highest amount wins.

Betting Payouts:

• The winning player receives bets from the other players based on the outcome of the round.

Passing the Dealer Role:

• The dealer role rotates to the next player, and a new round begins.

Winning the Game:

• The game can be played for a set number of rounds or until a player accumulates a specific amount of winnings.

Variations:

• Dice poker rules can vary, and players can introduce house rules or variations, such as using wild dice that can represent any value, setting specific betting limits, or adding more complex poker hand rankings.
