Instructions
Objective:
Chuck-a-luck (Crown and Anchor) is typically played for entertainment and is common at carnivals and casinos. The objective of Chuck-a-Luck is to correctly predict the outcome of the roll of three dice. Crown and Anchor is the exact same game as use Chuck-a-Luck except it uses special patterned dice
Materials:
- Three standard dice for the banker to roll.
- The cup and barrel used by the banker to roll the dice.
- Remaining dice to be used as currency or chips or other form of currency.
Setup:
- Print the provided .PDF seen below, or take two sheets of paper and draw 6 sections labelled from 1-6. This betting mat is where players will make their wagers.
Rolling Dice:
- The Chuck-a-Luck Banker rolls three dice in the barrel and places it on the table face down. Bets can be made until the banker is ready to reveal the dice.
Betting:
- Players place their bets on the outcome of the roll of three dice by placing their bets on the betting mat. There are always the basic betting options (1-6), additional bets can be made such as >11 (Big), <10 (Small), etc.
Revealing the Dice:
- After the dice have been rolled, the operator reveals the outcome by checking the numbers and their combinations.
Winning Bets:
- Players who correctly guessed the outcome receive winnings based on the odds associated with their bets.
